Leif B. Jensen’s great passion for music was sparked in the earliest years of his life, when his father would lull him to sleep with the soothing melodies of such early new age artists as Jean Michel Jarre and Vangelis (naturally a big influence). In school, Leif found music classes fairly boring, and was in the habit of making regular visits to the principal’s office after his unscheduled drum solos.

When he got his first computer, he began experimenting with making his own music, and joined a DJ class. Fast forward into 1997: Leif signed his first release with a local record label - a 12″ called “Feeling Weird”, and was eventually re-released on the Cafe del Mar 20th Anniversary compilation.

Leif has always enjoyed experimenting with a wide variety of different styles of electronic music, from ambient and downtempo to house, techno, trance, and drum & bass. Although not content to restrict himself to a specific style, house music has always had a special place in his heart, and it shines through in many of his productions. A solid groove has always been his primary objective. It’s the groove that makes your body rock.
