Welcome to our city and thank you for having this interview with us. First of all we´d like to tell you we really like your music and live acts..This interview will be the first one in our web page, which on the one hand consist on news, interviews and information about music in general, and on other hand it´s also a net label.

We went to sonar last year…did you expect the great acceptance of the audience?

Sonar is so great because people from all over the world come there…and it’s like promotors and press people..it sounds shit but it’s like that…everything was very good..i was very satisfied with the whole show…actually,it was in the afternoon and it’s not very easy to play at that time when it’s so bright outside.

For Sasha: We´ve noticed you use the Spanish language in some of your tracks titles like “Negra Modelo”..why is it so??

Oh..ha ha ha…Actually, Negra Modelo is the name of a mexican beer!!I was in Mexico on holiday, that’s why I know that name.

Is there any spanish artist you like in particular? (Dj or Producer)

(After ashamed laughs…): ha ha…mmm…We don’t really know many spanish artists..we just know some guys from the label Factor City from Barcelona.

Do you think it´s easy to success in the Berlin scene, in which there´s a lot of labels and artists..?

It’s a very hard competition but we think it’s a good scene because there are many people doing the same, though there are people who copy others. But even if we tried to copy someone it would sound totally different. You can pick the good things you like from people and you can be inspired from the various things there are,you pick the best from everything. But there are also many people who are very successful in copying other people and that’s not a good thing.

We think some on-line labels are of really good quality… what’s your opinion about them?

Phon.o: I like the idea of internet because it’s a good choice for people, they can have easy access to everything and it’s totally democratic… but sometimes I think it’s too easy to release a track that is not good enough to be on the website.

Sasha: in these days everybody is able to put their stuff online, and everybody can access from all over the world and that way there’s also a lot of shit music on the net… I think all depends on the guy who selects the music for the label… if this guy has a good taste, it’s a pretty good thing because it’s a very good way to distribute music… but since in these days it has become easier and easier to produce and release music, he should be hard in judging the music… if not, people can copy from each other.

You’re working with noisiness… in what way would you like to work with it? I mean, talking about textures, tunes, melodies and so on…?

If you just use totally clean sounds right out of the computer, it sounds very artificial and not organic… it’s all about making it sound a little bit more “friendly” and lightning.

What software and tools in general do you use for your productions??

I use very normal machines, but I think the good thing is the combinations of machines. I don’t like so many synthesysers. Often I take a sampler and then I work on it… I take a synthethyser, play it, make the audio file and then I put a lot of effects.

You create very special atmospheres in your productions… do you want to provoke a specific response on the part of the hearer?

i just do whatever i feel like at the moment… so sometimes I have that attitude to be kind of melancholic… I need the winter to make music… most of the people are really productive in the winter because there’s nothing else to do and a little bit depression is always good… so actually music just represents my mood. Actually i don’t ever think about the audience when i make music.

Thanks for everything Sasha and Carstem..hope to hear from you soon..

Thanks to you all Flumo… See you later…
