Ludwig Coenen es un Dj y productor nacido en Frankfurt. Como Dj ha trabajado en importantes clubs en su Frankfurt natal, así como en Berlin. Sus sets aparecen mensualmente en el X-Fade DJ Night para Radio X en Frankfurt. Desde el 2003 también escribe en música, técnica musical y dvds para el magazine DE:BUG. Como productor ha realizado diferentes colaboraciones para los sellos Highgrade y Senator. Próximamente también saldrá un track suyo para un recopilatorio del sello americano Inmigrant, así como un E.p en Senator. Entre todo este bagaje también se encuentran sus producciones para el NetLabel Pentagonik, entre algunos otros.
En este Aspect Ratio E.p, su debut en Flumo, Ludwig Coenen mantiene sus constantes oscilando entre techno y house como planteamiento estilístico. Contrastando siempre sus evocadoras construcciones melódicas y sus sencillas pero precisas percusiones con sus profundas e hipnoticas líneas de bajo y la evolutiva cadencia constructiva que crean esa deliciosa tensión argumental tan propia del de Frankfurt. Este Aspect ratio E.p se completa con un remix que el genial JacksonBlack hace del track que da nombre al E.p. Jxnblk disecciona Aspect Ratio para dotarlo de sus nuevas texturas y arreglos más próximos a la visión del norteamericano.
Ludwig Coenen is a Dj and producer born in Frankfurt. As a Dj he has work in remarkable clubs in his home town, as well as in Berlin. His sets appear monthly in the X-Fade DJ Night in Radio X, in Frankfurt. Since 2003 he also composes and writes on musical tendencies and dvds for DE:BUG magazine. As a producer he has undergo different collaborations for Highgrade and Senator labels. A new track will appear soon in a compilation of the label Inmigrant, and he will have his new E.p. released by Senator. In all this trip we also find his productions for Pentagonik NetLabel.
In this Aspect Ratio E.p., his debut in Flumo, Ludwig Coenen preserves his trend among house and techno as a stylistic base. His evocative melodic constructions always contrast his simple but precious drummings and hypnotic low lines and the evolutive constructive cadence that create altogether the delicious strain, Frankfurt artist’s way. Aspect Ratio ends with a JacksonBlack’s remix of the track that gives tittle to the E.p. Jxnblk dissects Aspect Ratio to provide it with new shades and arrangements close to the American.
